HELP - Mini only reads old DVDs?


i have mid-2010 mini decided setup in bed room dvd player/netflix streamer. today put in new movie netflix (dvd rental) , wouldn't work. tried in dvd player downstairs , worked fine. grabbed old movies own: 1 released in 2011 , 1 released in 2006.

dvd 2006 play, or register placed in drive. other (newer) movies spin , drive makes noises , spits them out, mini doesn't acknowledge put in drive. no, "disk unreadable" or other kind of error message. spins disc , spits out.

ideas happening?
 

so appears dreaded copy protected dvds - means mini useless watching dvd rent netflix?

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
