Wacum Bamboo Tablet and Yosemite Update


how use bamboo tablet yosemite:


first want save (backup) wacom tablet preferences, right clicking on mouse when connected tablet , pen preferences are. if tablet preferences set default, don't worry saving them. if have changed default different go

applications folder > double click wacom utility > current user >backup > save ( saving is, puts preferences in wacom utility folder day's date can find latest preferences.)

same thing again above time, instead of leaving "wacom tablet," click on up/down arrow next "wacom tablet", , change "documents". @ bottom left of page, click on new folder , create "wacom folder", click create , save folder. have double backup of latest preferences.

set download yosemite

once running on yosemite have bamboo tablet drive no longer works.
want remove old bamboo software. go to:

applications folder > double click wacom utility > current user >tablet software> remove

ok! want install newest wacum drive bamboo tablet

go http://cdn.wacom.com/u/productsupport/drivers/mac/consumer/pentablet 5.3.6-6.dmg new driver software yosemite wacom bamboo tablets. can software going www.us.wacom.com/en/support/drivers , scroll down bamboo tablets...not pads, careful not click on wrong download. begin download on mac show in upper right hand corner of home screen, arrow pointing down. click on arrow, choose top download , double click. follow instructions come up.

want make sure new software knows preferences. go documents > wacom tablet (that set per above instructions ) > latest preferences ( should "preferences.tabletprefs") > double click should update preferences in yosemite.

if doesn't work, go applications folder > wacom utility > double click > click on current user > click on restore that should put preferences computer. :)
