AirPlay Bug on iPhone while on LAN-only WiFi?


i've got airplay receiver (bought here) in car. hosts wifi network no internet connection, , iphones can join , play music car speakers. problem iphone doesn't know fall 4g internet, keeps trying use wifi , can't load or receive messages. that's not usable.

fix that, followed this answer, manually setting network settings wifi network router 0.0.0.0. now, iphone connect internet using 4g while it's on wifi network. still see airplay receiver option. can select it. once try play music, gets stuck 10 seconds disconnects airplay receiver (but stays on wifi)! looks bug in ios. workarounds?

p.s. no, don't @ iphone while driving.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
