Carrier What are the current tricks for keeping Verizon Unlimited data?


i need start thinking upgrade strategy getting new iphone 6s plus. in past have been able upgrade wife's phone (no udp) or father's phone (no udp) , switch new phone account while still keeping udp. still possible or did verizon stop allowing loophole?

other ideas keeping udp?

phone 1: iphone 6 plus
plan: family share plan. unlimited data
upgrade: availabile

carrier:verizon
phone 2: iphone 5s
plan: family share plan. 2gig data
upgrade: not available

have option use father's upgrade on own separate plan. have done 2 years ago.

plan: family share plan
upgrade: available
 


if upgrade father's phone have add 2gb data plan , when swap out devices , goes flip phone have keep data package on line! pretty waste of money. rid of unlimited data instead of paying $30/mo next 2 years. easiest way buying phone want outright.

btw how many gbs use month?

Find my Friends

Safari and keyword search extensions (or apps)

i use 2 things safari: fastscripts cmd-# shortcuts tabs in safari firefox/chrome (which not necessary in el capitan, thankfully), , safari keyword search keyword searching in bar (e.g., "wp spokane" searches wikipedia article spokane , goes if/when possible). latter: safari keyword search abandonware. creator has nothing on home page nor github in years. there little bug where, inexplicably, dumps saved keywords, requiring manual reimports. i've tried omnikey , don't based on how can't handle encoding of spaces in search strings, how stores saved entries. keysearch: don't know how handles spaces in searches. may abandonware, has not had major update since updated safari 6 years ago. glims: don't know if still around. overkill anyway. have other suggestions on minimalist, still-supported utility keyword searching in address bar? nice able "wp" , "i" , "a" wikipedia / google image / ama...
