Creating mp4 videos, tuts or docs?

i'm looking docs , tutorials on creating mp4 video files still images. wrote program use weekly select 4 images, add text data , creates new image context 5120 x 720 pixels. photos , text added context , final step app creates .tif file.

take final tif file adobe after affects animate , output mp4 file. here example of final product. http://www.larsapps.com/videos/anim_sample.mov

goal make app all-in-one program. animation , export , mp4 format. have goggled find playing videos, not creating them.

on finding documents or tutorials appreciated.
