Help me spend money, please


long story short: 2012 15" rmbp took bath in diet coke , throwing tantrum.

natural thought replace 2015 15" rmbp, whatever reason i'm having hardest time buying appears exact same computer bought in 2012. know touchpad different, slight processor upgrade, faster storage, 8 gb more ram, better dgpu(unless go base model). seems ton of money different performing machine.

there 13" rmbp 256 gb ssd open box @ local best buy $1300 , might cheaper because when in there on saturday every used laptop had additional 25 percent off because trying clean out return bin. plan stop there later tonight see if 13" qualifies this(it wasn't listed on saturday). if so(and if so), that's tempting offer... though smaller , not quite same performer.

since spend time @ home(work home), i've toyed idea of getting 27" 5k imac , getting ipad air 2 portable needs(currently have 3rd gen ipad that's feeling bit slow).

bought amazon warehouse 15" base model rmbp showed non-functional keyboard. lucky me.

use macbook for? well, nothing. right @ sitting on table , weep days gone by. did use for? music editing(logic), photo editing(photoshop, lightroom, aperture), web browsing , amusement(anytime didn't feel being desk constrained), media consumption (directly plugged entertainment center).

have equipped pc desktop rig main machine. whatever reason, 'creative' enjoyed doing more on laptop , use desktop work/gaming.

so.... ?
 

well, first try think of not upgrading machine that's not largely different replacing 1 happens better lol. said staying @ home, maybe re-evaluate if need macbook. sure portable , can huge, how take ware, move around house or not. apps use, may benefit real-estate of 27in retina imac

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
