Refurbished rMBP or new MBA for medical school

i'm starting medical school in month , need advice on buy. have 2012 model mbp.

main uses going reading , annotating large pdfs of textbooks, streaming webcasts of lectures, listening music, , surfing web.

i've been debating go with.

looking @ on refurbished site: http://store.apple.com/us/product/f...nch-macbook-pro-24ghz-dual-core-intel-core-i5.

it's rmbp 2.4 ghz 8gb of ram , 256gb of flash storage.

1. sufficient needs, streaming webcast of lectures , downloading, reading, , annotating large pdfs of textbooks?

2. have worry being refurbished site?

3. should @ mba? going go mba before finding refurbished site , figured retina display nice reading i'm going do.

hey! i'm going go med school in fall. i'm deciding between mbp , rmb right now. think mbair totally out of question me. nonretina screen looks absolutely obsolete in comparison ones on mb , rmbp. going looking @ our screens lot on next few years , think retina that.

other yeah looks good! compared people our uses going quite minimal; if me (do no photo/video editing, no gaming, strictly using studying, fb, messaging , netflix) think laptop in line work well. 2012 mbp last preclinical years too

luck!!
