Faulty USB ports ?


hi all,

think have problem 2 usb ports. , i'd me figure out.

yesterday, tried restore sister's iphone 5c ios 8.4.1. connected iphone 2014 rmbp, started restoration. processing, error 9 occurred, iphone went recovery mode because restoration didn't go thru properly. tried again, , got error 14.

looked these errors @ https://support.apple.com/en-us/ht204770, , reads usb problem. tried cable, used other usb port , still failed.
then, tried restoring on 2014 imac. succeeded @ first attempt.

i'm wondering if rmbp has usb problem, considering restoration failed on one.
related amperage, if rmpb transmitting electricity, causing restoration fail ?
should clean install yosemite ? or should hand on @ apple store ?

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
