Is Walmart on track to be a major e-commerce player?


a piece in seeking alpha caught eye thought post link here , ask members think. suggests walmart plans able deliver packages in 2 days or less 95% of population.

article brief mentions walmart has “opened new 1.2m square-foot fulfillment center in pennsylvania week, , has 4 more e-commerce facilities scheduled open later year.”

5 fulfillment centers in year sounds serious backing of effort capture market share in online version of big-box retail. opening fulfillment center not leasing deadspace in mall.

piece goes on suggest while company may focusing on amazon competition beat, step-up in attention e-commerce has pressured other major retailers follow suit.

don’t particularly follow news on giant retailers struck me interesting after news in last couple years negative walmart (patchy stocking of shelves, unattractive presentation in physical stores etc., not mention assorted management , wage issues).

have tended avoid walmart plague, , not because of perception employees treated inventory of many boxes of spare (and optional) parts. wonder if has turned corner , need update @ least attitude if not bookmarks , remind car how of nearby physical stores...

experience of store in either online or bricks-and-mortar venues?
 

i have used online services of big 3 if will, amazon, wal-mart, , target. have found, on more 1 occasion prices better being offered @ amazon, prime. have used best buy's online site couple of times due lower prices.

shop @ target regularly, wal-marts me pretty packed. there online service has been good, if not great. no complaints me.

say, amazon first stop , buy lot of items them.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
