iPhone 5: Battery or iOS 8?


i own 3 iphones currently, 4, 5 , 6.

iphone 6 current telephony device, keep old ones around spare ios devices games, apps, fb, e-mail , web. iphone 4 still runs ios 6.1.3 , battery life excellent.

5 problem. 4, i'm using spare ipod. works fine except battery life. ran beautifully under ios 7, when upgraded 8 that's when battery life went in toilet. can literally watch battery bleed 10-20% on few minutes usage. don't recall seeing specific threads ios 8 , battery issues specific iphone 5. battery life/ios upgrade coincidental , need new battery? note i've done pretty things can find turning down battery hogging functions no avail. assume there no way reinstall ios 7 @ point.
 

many iphone 5 batteries seem have issues, after time, , enough become evident after ios updates. should check see if phone covered battery recall related iphone 5 phones apple started time ago, , perhaps battery replaced way.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
