Why is the 2012 Mini so in Demand?


i have base mid 2010, last superdrive use writing, several published nonfiction books. ive thought of upgrading ssd speed things up, 4gb of ram fine. seems mini aficianados rave 2012. why?
 

the 2012 may have quad-core i7 (if can find 1 reasonable price)
on 2010, 2012 has usb 3, thunderbolt, , quieter fan (some come older, somewhat-noisier fan)
finally, sata bus 6gbps, sata3 speeds.

somewhat-slower model, ssd worthwhile upgrade

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
