i tried looking online , on macrumors, found nothing. had unlocked at&t iphone 6 replaced @ apple store due receiver issues. know through these forums verizon , sprint doesn't activate iphones unless own version of phone. hell of it, went verizon's esn checker page (http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/nso/enterdeviceid.do?&&ziprdr=y&ziprdr=y) , entered in meid number found in settings. surprise said device compatible verizon network , ready activated sim card it. tried doing same thing sprint, don't have esn checker, 1 of mvno carriers (ringplus) , given green light there well.
thought maybe verizon started activating iphones, still had box original iphone 6 came in , entered meid of phone , both verizon , sprint mvno declined meid compatible.
reading, love hear everyones input on
from experience when replaced iphone 5 asked me carrier select list on ios 6 though , when replaced 6 plus didn't ask me activated right away verizon although know happens
