Cloning over Yosemite


i'm asking father...i'd confirmation work.

might try out yosemite on macbookpro (per advice apple store), he's concerned ton of negative comments on apple page.

he's on mountain lion. has extensive backups of (bootable). likes using it.

question if upgrades yosemite, , doesn't it. can use backup clone macbook now?
 

if backup, mean time machine backup, yes. option key boot tm disk , erase internal disk restore date before upgrade. issue there files documents etc. created between 2 dates not restored since using older restore point.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
