iPad mini Will the iPad Mini 2 continue to be supported?


my question, title implies. let me explain mean. ipad mini 2 may reportedly begin phased out. however, has similar (essentially identical) specifications ipad mini 3. have decided want buy ipad mini 2 , within next couple of weeks (i'm waiting student sales start can discount). however, ipad mini 2 continue receive ios updates? how long might until ipad mini 2 doesn't updates mini 3 does? maybe finger print reader become prerequisite future ios devices. idk... seems bit risky.

guys think? i'm not interested in latest , greatest, want ipad :p
 


well, mini 2 getting ios 9, don't have worry next year lol. think a7 devices (iphone 5s, air 1, mini 2/3) ios 11 or beyond. considering a5 devices still supported, think a7 devices around while.

if can wait, mini 4 coming out fall. have mini 2 right , i'm awaiting ipad air 3 :)

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
