WD My Book Duo NOT compatible: Time Machine Backups?

i don't understand how that's possible?

it's usb 3 connected drive.

problem tm doesn't work on raid?

if used duo 2 separate drives?

check specs. specifies not compatible tm.
osx needs have reformated, default format windows. did reformat it? may then?
time machine disks need right format , not sure how easy raid. think should possible on mac-mounted soft raided drives, on external box? system on box creates raid needs tm compatible , wd not specifying it. chance not work , not apple fault.
