Boot camp assistant will not let me install later version than Windows 7 (even with modded script)


on imac...
i've tried modifying info.plist include boot ram version, , model number, , nada, zilch, still have same 3 checkboxes in bca asking windows 7... why. want windows 8.1 please, yes?! yargh.

tried using "sudo codesign .... "
terminal command well. need entire xcode program this? terminal seemed download tool needed , says "replacing existing signature" , completes....buh?
 

here possible way.

can replace windows installation files new version of windows. make sure keyboard , mouse can work during install.

install not supported version of windows using boot camp.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
