command + arrow keys not working in certain terminal applications


had simple question regards terminal in mac not able find solution on web. on mac terminal can cmd+arrow keys move forward/backward between words on command line. when start particular program influx cli program interface influxdb these keys stop working , when press cmd+back prints b instead of going word. know how fix this?
 

there may not solution. i'm guessing key command using works when application using 'readline' library. bash shell, example. library used programs implement fancy editing , history on command line. if program doesn't use library have use functionality program implements.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
