Latest: 10.10.4 uses Sequential Trim "Warning: 10.10.4 might use Queued Trim instead of Sequential!"


note: has been resolved not issue!

lost 5tb fusion drive based on corsair m500 (ct960) had been working great until 10.10.4 upgrade. while moving blocks from/to ssd, system totally corrupted.

hypothesis while earlier versions using sequential trim, apple might have switched. corsair , believe samsung drive fail queued trim.

of rouse, independent of whether use trim enabler of new native command.

caveat emptor! staring @ 30plus hours timemachine restore....
 

i'll see if can find article again, os x using sequential trim. linux has option of queued/sequential. there many reasons data can hosed other trim.
