Replace And Trash


hi all, im looking if knows of setting somewhere in osx or app moves replaced items trash instead of straight-out deleting them.

issue is:
when move item folder item same name , file format exists, option 'keep both' 'stop' or 'replace'. selecting replace removes item there , inserts new file. problem being removed file gone. think potentially risky if replace file didn't mean , gets ejected osx ether never seen again.

in advance.
 

there no way i'm aware of.

time machine might saving grace , go time before replaced file (as long haven't changed file multiple times between hourly time machine updates.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
