Upgrade 10.5.8 to Yosemite


i found old macbook pro has 10.5.8 installed , upgrade yosemite.
what's fastest, hassle-free way so?

created bootable yosemite installer (usb thumb drive), wouldn't work.
 

what "wouldn't work" mean?
computer have? not every macbook pro can run yosemite.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
