Upgrading to iMac 5k - a few questions


this our primary family computer (and last pc replaced in house)....can purchase 8gb of ram , buy aftermarket through crucial.com 32gb? downsides that?

setting imac wife, myself , 2 daughters....3 different accounts, no imessage intergration on either one....how music , itunes? have hd of music downloaded , (in cases) purchased me....will share across both accounts in itunes. other suggestions new setup?
 

yes, , no downside.

itunes doesn't want have shared library (the list of tunes) among users. i've tried that. can have each user's library access tunes on external drive. make sure preferences->advanced->"copy files itunes media folder when adding library" not checked. added music have manually added each account.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
