Early 2008 Eggshell Macbook. Gut and upgrade?


i love 2008 eggshell white macbook. it's been such great intro mac me , love it, price! (100$ au).

limited 10.7.5 means more , more apps want use not available. sure bootcamp windows port few things, have work want.

know big limiting factors processor , graphics card, latter being big achilles heel. it's equipped 2.4ghz intel pro duo 2, , 4gb ram, not terrible. know there no real upgrade path integrated graphics card.

options? keep laptop, have options able run latest software?

thinking along lines of gutting out or hardware , retrofit macbook pro board, late 2008 macbook, or similar. has been attempted?

can dual boot current version of osx , later version use when need use apps (as in 3d printing software).

willing remove dvd drive , pop in graphics card if possible, ssd quite likely.

bought laptop while backpacking have cheap laptop wouldn't need stress if got lifted, love it!

if there options, love hear them!

ah forgot mention, have larger hdd installed, if that's concern.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
