T-Mobile Jump on Demand- $15 for iPhone 6- worth it?

i have been long time t-mobile customer , have been planning on getting iphone 6s plus when it's released in october. unfortunately, lost old lg g3 phone (paid in full) while , have been relegated nokia lumia 521 suffers poor battery life , cellular reception , seems on last leg now. i've never been interested in leasing phone before because tend keep phone @ least 2 years , sell them privately. considering problems i'm having lumia 521 however, wondering people thought of jump on demand promotion iphone 6. i've had piece i've seen online can't locate terms , conditions of promotion.

gather, if took promotion, enter 18 month lease agreement , pay $15 per month 2 months lease iphone 6 (i turn in lumia satisfy device requirement). when iphone 6s plus comes out, upgrade in october , @ end of 18 months, have option of paying remainder of 6s plus retail price , own 6s plus outright. sound correct? there hidden costs i'm not seeing here? since original plan purchase 6s plus @ full retail (paying monthly installments 24 opposed 18 months) there real difference in total cost of doing after 18 month period expires?

thanks!

if recall correctly, $15 promo on 16gb 6 , upgrade 6s+ or larger capacity model 6s cost non-promotional pricing. other thing didn't see mention t-mobile recommends device protection plan (like $8-9 more per month) cover phone leasing. reason being if there see "wrong" device, when trade in, won't let jump , you'll stuck phone unless buy in full.
