2009 Macbook Pro - External Monitor Options


hey everyone,

use 2009 macbook pro main home machine in clamshell mode. have hooked external monitor , use in clamshell mode 90% of time. external monitors work old machine (27" range or larger)?

question looking newer / bigger / better external monitor 1 use. know cannot use new thunderbolt display, , video card in 2009 macbook pro can't power lot of newer super "retina" focused screens out there. so, i'm looking monitor in 27" size range work macbook.

have ideas or recommendations? tia!

anything resolution of 2550x1440 or lower work. says right in machine's manual if still have it.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
