Macbook overheating-fans not speeding up?

i have mid-2012 macbook pro purchased last year. have had logic board replaced due ram issues.
downloaded istat because have started using graphic-intensive applications , felt laptop heat quite bit. temperatures have risen 80 degrees celsius , higher. using old separate laptop fan cool down laptop, , though outer bottom casing cool touch, appears interior not when using applications.

know macbooks capable of tolerating high temperatures. have had quit these applications after little use because worry might shut down if temperatures continue increase (and warranty over). fans haven't sped @ cool down laptop, , stays @ around 1950-2220 rpm range. have read should speed when temperatures rise, has not occurred.
downloaded fan speed controller seems job prefer if did not have control fans whenever computer heats up...
have tried smc reset, didn't improve situation.

unless computer has shut down out of blue, has not overheated.

80c isn't hot mobile silicon, they'll reach 105c or before throttling.
