Black Screen After Logging In.

2 week old 15" rmbp discreet gpu , force touch track pad. i'm running newest version of yosemite.

using computer few hours , of sudden slowed stop. restarted , got login screen. typed in password, hit enter, , screen went black.

tried same thing external monitor hooked , had same result.

tried resetting pram multiple times, verifying , repairing disk permissions, , holding down shift (it didn't anything) while booting.

ran on closest apple store (about 10 minutes away), , told me booked day, , didn't have available appointments until thursday. checked of other apple stores here in orange county, ca , none of had available appointments until thursday.

tomorrow supposed last day on 3 year contract work, , may not finish tomorrow. such bummer spend $2,700+ on brand new computer, have crap out few weeks later.

listening mini rant. advice or suggestions?

when mention screen going black after login, can hear computer still running, or appear off?

if it's still running, gpu since issue persists on external display rules out panel of laptop itself. in case, have taken action towards, being in hands 2 weeks it's going need replaced @ apple.

suppose makes no sense try , diagnose issue anyway since mr. solder , mrs. glue (or whatever going crazy on there) require entire board replaced anyway - they'll do.

i'd return if you're being conservative "2 week old" mention , still within 14 day return. perhaps they'll make exception - having 2 week old machine go through board replacement isn't reassuring.
