hi everyone, don't think question has been asked before, here goes..
have presentation, 70 slides long. , have recorded soundtrack in presenter discusses slides.
how add soundtrack presentation, , transitions between/within slides match want them?
thanks!
note: system macbook pro retina, running os x 10.10.4
keynote doesn't have timeline editor. if want sync transitions soundtrack:
- automate of transitions whole show can play through start finish
- export whole show quicktime movie file
- import movie file fcp x , use it's editing tools , timeline drop in soundtrack , sync transitions want them
fcp x may still have free trial. if don't have fcp x or doesn't have free trial , don't want buy it, other video editor software timeline work well. key kind of timeline-based editor.
else, setting music play way through , trying time transitions automatically advance , delay hit soundtrack cues drive madness. way suggest above make can transitions occur right when want them occur.
1 other way way described here: http://macintoshhowto.com/keynote/how-to-time-a-keynote-presentation-to-a-music-soundtrack.html. depend on (manually) timing transitions align soundtrack way through. fcp x (or other video editor) best way imo option doesn't require buy or learn new software.
if it's narration in soundtrack, can chop soundtrack slide segments , auto-play each segment when transition each new slide. again, it's bear auto-time transitions might try manual option @ link each slide , stitch individual slide videos together.
there other tools out there (on windows side) want well. articulate presenter 1 (but fcp x option cost less).
