AEBS slow Wifi?


i noticed today while setting new freenas box wireless data rate might slower designed.

did initial time machine nas box connected via ethernet aebs.

on wifi, mbp right next aebs (5th gen think, latest "flat" one, n-speed) , pushing data @ 6mb/sec (according istat pro). when plugged in ethernet cable , shut off wifi, jumped 28mb/sec.

reasonable speed on wireless or should expecting more? how can improve it?
 

@msft issue occur 1 macbook pro or clients? option-click on wi-fi icon in menu bar , report transmit rate. 6 mb/s under 54 mbps wireless g speeds. full factory reset unplugging airport power, inserting paper clip reset hole, , reinserting power cord , continuing hold paper clip until front light flashes rapidly before releasing. then, manually reconfigure airport of settings leave 2.4 ghz , 5 ghz networks under 1 name , leave channels on automatic. not wipe out data on internal time capsule drive. report results!

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
