Restarting Loops and Random Restarts on Yosemite with SSD

i've been using mid 2012 macbook pro 1 problem since i've owned in march, sata cable failed , needed replaced, replaced drive solid state. out of few days ago, mac started go these restart loops when opened sleep. maybe 5-10 times continuously restart , once logged on, computer restarted because problem occurred. took apple store genius not determine problem , told me wipe drive , install fresh yosemite. since looping has stopped, still restart out of absolutely nowhere, , error messages have ceased.
have not reinstalled osx yet, wondering if may attributed yosemite's issues ssd's. may bit use el cap beta, i've read el capital solves issue yosemite , trim.
else have input?
