Scaled Resolution Performance 3rd Party Applications


i using pq321q 31.5" 4k monitor gtx980 @ scaled resolution of 3008x 1692 , applications having performance issues because of scaled resoltuions gpu stress i'm assuming.

example adobe speedgrade cc has massive ui lag , sequence viewers djv , pdplayer applications not playing in realtime. have tested ui performance in native 3840x2160 , works fine, unfortunately it's bit small comfortable use.

there way have applications open in non scaled resolution, terminal command or anything. under impression os x's scaling independent , apps can take advantage of it.
 

seems found solution unaware about. if select , app , go "get info" can select "open in low resolution".

seems have fixed issues 3rd party apps , performance. great, hope helps!

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
