Upgrading RAM at store


my company purchased 2 21.5in imacs last may (middle of line) , @ time thought 8gb of ram fine doing (illustrator & photoshop open time, safari/spotify open entertainment on 2nd screen mail app) , i'm hitting 6.3/8 given without opening photoshop. possible send 1 of imacs in upgrade ram or creek , instead need convince accountant why need new imac after year of use?
 

what going off of? if memory pressure low, machines fine.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
