Mac Pro ram fail when running Yosemite


hi macrumors.

got offered mac pro 5.1 $302 - seems pretty offer.
yesterday seller called me , said tried install yosemite on computer
, when boot computer, ram fails.
considering buy anyway because of price , see if can repaired.
specs okay guess:
  • mac pro 5.1
  • 16gbr
  • 2tb hd
  • 2.8ghz quad
  • mid 2010
so. think easy, expensive, or worth fix?
let me know if should provide more informations fault.

imo, $302 faulty ram still deal. however, careful not ram have issue. may not idea pay $302 unknown condition computer. may end cost more double fix it.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
