G4 Cube Processor Comptibility?

so, after issues, iv'e upgraded power mac g4 cube as could. new agp graphics card, maxed ram, airport card, , bluetooth dongle. (even new pram battery , installed base fan)

now, question is, if buy, say, 800mhz cpu card g4 quicksilver, install in cube? have know-how so. i'm unaware if socket compatible, , if psu able handle power draw. not worried temps, i'll slap arctic silver 5 on , install bigger base fan.

not really. issue card overhangs other direction vs agp cpu cards , hit ide connector. if you're soldering iron , dedicated, make work, it's far easier use different cpu. believe fastest oem cpu dual 500mhz card agp (compare pictures of other cpu cards , you'll see goes other direction). have 1 of these running @ 550mhz in 1 of cubes. have tilt inductor on lays flat , find kind of spacer (like copper) thermally connect cpu dies main cube heatsink.

really, best option 1 of aftermarket cpus, newertech or powerlogix. these allow "vrm bypass" card powered 28v straight power brick , not load vrm card. so:
