G5 not recognizing RAM upgrade. *Solved*


so got 2 512mb ram sticks g5. have original 4 infinion 256mb sticks. today got 2 512mb infinion ram sticks. stuck them g5 , work, read 256mb sticks. so, i'm thinking got gyped , have fake labels. thinking, maybe g5 doesn't recognize change? mean, it's had same sticks in last 11 years , looks first time they've been removed. so, i'm not entirely sure. i've never done ram upgrade in mac. i've ever done stuff in windows pcs.
 

heres screenshots of g5 showing. i'd show photos of ram don't have way pictures onto g5 @ moment. bottom 2 slots should 512mb

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
