Confusion about wifi functionality of the Apple Watch


apple has said little how apple watch leverages wifi, it's been bit of guessing game.

assumed if apple watch , iphone on *same* wifi network, apple watch use wifi connect iphone , functional.

*awesome*, once got home drop iphone , use watch anywhere in house take calls, read emails, interact apps, etc.

however, don't think apple watch , iphone talk each other @ on wifi. instead, iphone shares known wifi network info watch ahead of time, , watch connects wifi perform basic functions directly via internet.

understanding correctly? if so, hope update allow full functionality when watch , iphone on same wifi network (similar ipad's ability make , receive calls if it's on same network phone).
 

watch , iphone communicate on same wifi network if move out of bluetooth range.

continue function though still connected via bluetooth.

describe - iphone on charger , wear watch around house , same connectivity.

works on office wifi.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
