Best way to upload to iCloud Drive?

i running mavericks , not interested in updating yosemite. however, grad student , have thousands of pdfs upload icloud drive (200 gb storage plan) can read them on ipad via goodreader. literally thousands of pdfs. tried uploading via icloud.com in 2 hours 2 documents uploaded. not do. know if updated yosemite have icloud drive right in finder , (probably) able transfer files (with multiple folders) directly drive. however, love mavericks , don't want that. so, how these thousands of files icloud drive without updating os x?

in advance.

you can't... icloud drive work on yosemite. have thoudsand of pdf's too, , while on yosemite use drive this, storage expensive.... use dropbox pro. however, u must upoad via website.... causes more issues (eg browser refresh, time out etc)

best bet maybe external drive, since uploading 200gig not practical...

or file transporter. http://filetransporterstore.com/
