Got Mid 2007 A1226 MacBook Pro for $59

i managed acquire mid 2007 mbp 15" shy of $60 in private deal now. granted, have few faults in came without battery, 1 of ram slots doesn't work, , ram cover on bottom of machine missing, think $60 pretty reasonable.

it's functional , in quite cosmetic condition. core 2 duo 2.2 ghz, 8600m gt 128 mb , 2 gb ddr2 ram in 1 module.
runs leopard 10.5.8, might upgrade snow leopard or possibly mountain lion. don't think yosemite wise on machine, though support (as oldest mac of all, in fact).

i've been fond of pre-unibody design, when saw decided jump on it. should fun play around with. might try setting time machine server on it.

if has ram cover model lying around, feel free send way. or perhaps idea how might fix second ram slot?
