Macbook Air 13 or a Pro?

i of heavy work on 27 inch imac when need take work, work, there smattering of older windows desktops (long live non-profit!) several years i've used 2013 11" macbook air...for including photoshop, indesign, , illustrator. while not best scenario sanity or eyes, i'm surprised times tiny might air has done considering other alternative machines totally suck.

hubby needs 11" mba traveling on daily basis , in need of portable when have work "at work"...a souped 13" mba first choice coming in around 1800 bucks if opt i7 , slighter larger ssd...remember i'm using 11" inch 2013 mba 128 ssd. gotta admit love lack of weight carrying these things around.

other option mbp retina , know several folks them , feel they're great - had old mbp non retina before air. trouble - souping mbp , i'd opt 15" , if add i7 mix i'm looking @ quite bit more.

suggestions? work on both? , remember, non-heft of airs when carrying else need in backpack.

thanks.

13" rmbp give far more value power/specs on 13" mba.

no point throwing $1800 @ mba imho, might spend on better 13" rmbp. advantage mba has less weight.

if less weight important thing, souped 13" mba. otherwise, 13" rmbp.
