So I have this odd problem, external HDD actually full but shows empty everywhere. What should I do?


so have external lacie rugged diskt 1tb. there's 2 partitions in disk. 1 of them 880gb , other 120, or that.
real problem have important work backup there , hdd analyzers show drive empty, when access it, full , can @ files. i'm worried system see empty space , start replacing important data. advice?

here can see graphically empty except fact if add numbers in audio, videos, photos have 600gb used graphic shows 40 gb used.

wtf, need don't want accidentaly overwrite something.
 

what see when choose in finder, right-click, , choose "get info" (perhaps "conseguir informaciĆ³n")? can try "get info" on folders within drive.
