iPad Restoring Error - Unknown Error 1


hey guys,

i'm hoping can me. mom tried update ipad 4 (wifi + gsm, without carrier sim card) few days ago , didn't work reason. got stuck on itunes symbol screen. @ first though minor, maybe ran out of battery in middle of update. helped download itunes on computer (windows) , tried updating/restoring didn't work.
brought ipad me , i've been trying past 2 days make work (on mbp). goes 70% of restoring process "unknown error 1" message , doesn't work. tried dfu mode, tried downloading ipsw computer, went through several pages on google trying find solution, don't know else try.
people online said baseband error, other said -1 baseband error error 1 jailbreaking/bad downgrading related. mom's ipad wasn't jailbroken , trying update it, don't know.
wanted set appointment genius bar, there're 2 apple stores here in brazil. closest me never has appointments available , know going there , trying talk won't because won't see without appointment.

know else can try?
 

ok communication issue itunes server. hardware issue if ok before i'll go coms.

try changing dns server of macbook 8.8.8.8

after try doing dfu restore new usb cable. let itunes download file , see how goes there.

it'll allows install downloaded ipsw in restore more. need click extras more , restore pop menu loads on first boot

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
