so metal announcement mac make significant difference in state of gaming on mac os? mac native games run better , perhaps close of gap running in windows?
 

it has potential to, if developers willing take advantage of it. many devs working in opengl world (where linux compatibility, , windows compatibility if want), they're not going want re-write graphics engines run on metal instead. developers invested in opengl os x (like blizzard, uses directx on windows, ogl on os x , no linux support), moving metal prove idea long can development team trained on new technology.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
