Need NAS for PC/Mac backups and file sharing - Time Capsule or WD My Cloud


i have time capsule time machine backups great, painfully slow in using kind of file sharing across machines, when trying copy files it.

nas solution such mycloud mirror faster option? slowness of time capsules have been issue apparently, when doing initial large backup on new mac or pc.

in advance!
 

not faster compared time capsule internal drive if any. have synology nas , current generation time capsule , both slow, tc little faster in benchmarks. usb drive plugged in slower, thats same nas. using wired ethernet instead of wireless makes big difference.

file transfers mini server (attached raid0 array) on twice fast either synology or tc.

don't use apple approved product time machine destination. there lot of vendors claiming support , there have been many have had luck, many not much. use ccc instead.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
