New Macbook or Macbook Pro 13" Late 2015


hi everyone!

buying new computer in few weeks , needed advice.

have been lurking forums time , have yet find answer question...

have retina imac (see sign) tougher work (lightroom, photoshop, rendering, etc) , need computer bring friends when have projects together, bring school, , of course if need on road. new macbook on paper best laptop this.

had macbook pro retina 15" before, , got bit heavy bring school, other stuff in bag. have camera bag fits ipad, , sure can fit new macbook there, huge pro. since bring camera well, small size great!

therefore looking after portability, either 13" retina macbook pro, or new macbook.

best choice following needs?

uses: pages, safari, itunes, light use of lightroom if on road.

the first reason can see macbook pro being better choice proven design works well, while new macbook brand new.

the second reason can see macbook pro being better choice again, ports. use sd port lot, , having adapter wouldnt kill me, hassle non less.

other stuff concerns me regarding new macbook:
  1. battery life. seems lot reported on over forums here regarding degrading.
  2. screen coating coming off?
are these things things worry or things rare?

based on concerns, go 13" retina pro. comes out around same price new macbook, more versatile if need use more cpu intensive. after testing new macbook week, not buy due build quality. screen hinge way weak. not mention bonus of not needing carry adapters everything.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
