Two Hours into my 90 day Trial, I think I'm going back to Spotify Premium right now.


there's 1 thing spotify bit weak thought apple crush them, , that's music discovery / suggestions.

start out picking genre. love metal. rock, electronic, alternative, , pop okay sometimes.

suggests artists me. nothing great. keep hitting "more artists" it's if itunes knows 40 artists or so. i'm looking following:

insomnium (melodic death metal)
ghost brigade (sludge metal)
birthday massacre (new wave)
trivium (heavy metal)
amaranthe (pop metal)

nope. none of available. nothing close of available. end settling with:
slipknot (shock rock)
metallica (metal)
lady gaga (pop)

okay... apple music suggest me now?

slipknot. endless slipknot. band has 5 albums apple music suggesting every song @ least twice. don't me wrong, slipknot fine, i've known them forever , i'm looking new. doesn't fact picked them in artists selection screen indicate apple it's not breaking new grounds me?

search artists listed , go through , mark down love 100 or of songs (a process takes around 2 hours). efforts? apple recommending me now?

apple music's ability suggest music , discover new stuff horrid as, if not worse than, genius 10 years ago.

itunes used have metadata field lyrics. metadata appears have been removed sometime in 3 years since swapped spotify, there's no support lyrics @ all. in contrast, spotify has lyrics seemingly ever track in library, , of synchronized song it'll automatically scroll play song, , can skip around in track clicking on different lines in lyrics (so could, example, skip chorus.)

also, though apple touts have 7m more tracks spotify, there albums i've found on spotify can't find on apple music. name 2 discovered missing during 2 hours apple music:

super meat boy soundtrack
metroid cinematica

niche? absolutely. want mix them playlists, , can't because apple doesn't have them.

final assessment of apple music not not spotify killer, it's not spotify competitor. it's useless piece of crap.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
