Qs-First MBA upgrade from a late 2007 Macbook
thats right, until 5 days ago i've been rocking old white late 2007 macbook running 10.6.8. i've upgraded mba , have plenty-o questions guys. in advance thank you input cause have issue deal im sure guys with.

old 2007 macbook 2.2ghz core 2 upgraded 4gb of ram few years ago extend life.
computer has been giving me pinwheel of death long time , dealt waiting till got new one.
here's problems start....
got brand new 13inch 1.6ghz i5 256gb mba upgraded 8gbs of ram. when came noticed had 10.10 , frankly, not deal @ all. flatness of it, along thought tiny system fonts depressed me. had used 10.9 time time , liked feel of tried new 1 installed 10.9 (i never remember names of osx). since new one, genius people said 10.9 wasn't possible , way find older 1 had 10.9 installed @ point.
luck, found mid-2013 13inch 1.7ghz i7 256gb 8gbs wanted @ exact moment on refurb site. ordered , waited till came make sure run 10.9. genius installed , returned 2015 model (i not 2015 model or 2014 think new ones put out. literally 1.5-2 weeks ago.)
im working on 2013 , still hasn't looked right me. keep thinking fonts. have dropped res lower setting , while increases things fonts turn fuzzy. learned hard way appearance set font size option in old 10.6 isn't option these new os.
after discussion applecare , trying find work around, came conclusion while fonts small (and ability change them app app or across whole system is, put kindly, limited (control+ not solution - workaround)), problem might lie actual screen.
seems model has glossy screen causing fits eyes , head. i've looked around site , have seen many people discuss issue , preference matte screen discussions on mbp. i'm waiting power support anti-glare screen ship test 2013mba.
question, possible non-glossy and/or matte mba or mbp either through refurb or new? don't seem find them on site. wasting time searching 1 have specs want or @ least ability upgrade ram want?
im sort of out of sorts on computer. if there better mac option out there, i'd take it. i'd hate have 1 glossy screen , in month or 2 apple releases better looking non-glossy/matte screens. can't shell out cost 2 macs. needs last min of 3 years.
im hoping store in next day or 2 see whats available there in terms of better screen mac. don't see fuss retina @ cost difference.
(one positive of found out specs on 2013 refurb pretty in tune new mbas if new osx comes out gives more user functionality in terms of font size system wide , app app, mba should able handle upgrades @ least few generations.)

absolutely love old 2007 macbook. , os x 10.6 was/is superb. wish have 10.6 on new sooped mba. screen... burning eyes!
sorry, lost me here.
fonts, button shapes, etc. arbitrary design decisions. i'm sure once start doing actual work computer, ignore small visual differences of things in corners of screen.
