8gb ram or 16gb ram? Advice?


hello people,

i'm looking @ 21.5 inch imac (late 2013) 2.9 ghz nvidea dedicated graphics (750m).

i'm wondering wether spend 522 euros (580 dollars) 16 gb of ram.

here do:

*lots of internet browsing & youtube (5/6 tabs open @ once max)
*photoshop & illustrator (open together, 3/4 compositions open in total @ once)
*some games (the 750m pretty saw @ store) (but have ps4)

won't have photoshop & illustartor running while gaming, have internet running.

have 4gb rmpb too, , had no problems there. swap though, around 200/300mb's.

external ssd, because internal ssd cost me 522 euros (don't ask me why, these upgrades have order through apple, more expensive biggest electronic stores here in holland, have 8gb's ram).

do? think 8gb's of ram enough me? osx pretty in ram management.

 

i bought imac 5k , had same dilema. since ram on imac swappable decided, if ever need 16gb id buy amazon @ fraction of cost.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
