Massive Safari battery drain


i have terrible battery life on iphone 6 running ios 8.4.1. can see in screenshot, die after 10 hours. safari uses 55% of battery, despite quite light usage. safari average 40% battery usage in "last 7 days" tab. usage 50%+ of standby is.

things have tried haven't worked far:

– reset safari
– turned off safari reading list, , deleted in it
– changed icloud passwords
– turned off location services & background refresh
– turned off icloud on phone few days, no change
– had whole phone replaced (due clicking screen issue) once.
– full reset , restore backup
– full reset without restoring backup, set new phone. couldn't believe didn't solve it!

thing work if manually close safari in multitasking view, , use chrome instead. chrome uses fair amount of cpu gets me through day. i've done few months , don't chrome go safari.

advice on try next – feel i've literally tried everything!
 

so saying let's in 24 hours usage of safari wasn't half of using phone for?

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
