NSSlider Cocoa development question


hi, all,
software developer tried learn cocoa programming.

trying implement nsslider ticks , labels. task place labels aligned ticks.

unfortunately looks have create labels hand cocoa not provide way create labels nsslider. have nsslider window parent of labels nsslider manage positioning/sizing of labels.

easiest way of doing so? everywhere labels made children of dialog.panel nsslider located. makes have more work.

possible i'd do? in compliance cocoa ui guidelines? have change z-order of windows , bring labels top in order them visible? if yes, how?
 

looking @ docs, reference nsslider says ui implemented nsslidercell. did @ class? there options in default implementation. if don't implementation, reference docs nsslidercell tells methods override if want sublcass , create modified one.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
