DELL P2715Q + ATI 7950 picture problems (Macpro 5.1)


hi guys,

got weird problem on original macpro 2012 5.1. bought new gfx card have more power in davinci, amd radeon 7950 6gb vram. ive had 2 apple 23" hd displays, works great.

needed uhd displays , decided buy 2x dell p2715q. bought 2x minidisplayport - displayport cable uhd monitors. theres problem:

•*first dell working 3840x2160 @ 60hz
• second dell working 3200x2160 @ 60 hz

, both monitors got 2cm strip grafic fail ! tested different cabels, original ones. plugged dell macbookpro retina, no fail.

think failure of gfx card, right? but... why? no mac certified card, should work though.

hardware:
• macpro 5.1
• 12 core
•*amd 7xxx 6gb
•*osx 10.9.5

i had kinds of problems mac edition 7950 , single p2715q it's not pc vbios.

there big difference me switching latest version of osx - fixed lot of problems in 7950 drivers. seemed introduce profile p2715q. if can, upgrade.

however, before upgrade, might want delete (after taking backup, obviously) both of windowserver.plist files , restart let them rebuild. fixed lot of problems me.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
