try reinstall os x el capitan...
step 1: boot recovery mode (cmd + r while boot up)
step 2: click on reinstall os x (make sure when in installer says, reinstall os x el capital, if not dont it!, downgraded os x yosemite
step 3: click continue , @ end
step 4: reinstall click on restart after mac has downloaded components!

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
